If you follow me on twitter you'll know that I decided to treat myself yesterday!
After picking up my mum’s car and getting something to eat, I headed to Superdrug. The first thing on my list was Sleek's new Acid palette. WOW! The colours are SO bright and vibrant and live up to their name!! - I do wish Sleek would find a new way of making the packaging on their palettes tamper proof. I had to go through at least 4 palettes before I was happy enough to purchase one. *grrr*

Next was another product by Sleek, I bought the Glisten Me Liquid Illuminator in Goddess (I already own Empress which is a pale gold shade). This illuminator is FRICKING GOREGOUS!!! It's a deep golden bronze colour and makes my skin look like it has been kissed by the sun (",) - I can't rave about these illuminators enough!
It is suitable for all skintones and reminds me a lot of Illamasqua's Enrapture liquid metal, for those who read my post about Solstice; Enrapture is a better fit for me =D

Then it was unto GOSH, I noticed their new summer ‘09 collection was out but decided to skip it on this occasion, so instead I bought a velvet touch lipstick in Amethyst shade #131. I like the formulation of these lipsticks (I already own Mocha #128) and although it's a frost which I find can be drying on the lips, this is smooth and creamy and not at all drying.
Amethyst reminds me a lot of MAC’s Purple Rite lipstick from the new collection Style Warriors and if I'm honest this was the main reason I bought it (watch out for a comparisons post).

Finally I purchased some Barry M Dazzle Dusts as they were on a 3 for £9.99 offer. I’m slowly becoming obsessed with these dusts! - My first one was Petrol Black #98 which I heart!
I purchased Pink/Gold (#3), as part of my freelance kit a few weeks ago and it was one of my favourite products to use on my last photoshoots. It’s a lot like MAC’s paradisco eyeshadow, so when it came to treating myself, that was the first one I reached for! (“,)
I also picked up Ice Pink (#1) and Gold Iridescent (#27) white with gold shimmer flecks.

My superdrug doesn't stock Sleek so I've had to get a mate to post it for me. Arrives on Monday. Thank you for the swatches! Oh my days! That pink and green...The choices are too many!!! The Liquid Illuminator as well. Ack! My Superdrug is wack when it comes to this kind of stuff!!!

I bought the last Acid palette in my main town superdrug today. not sure how I am going to wear the colours but will see. as for the illuminator. I so wanted to buy one but I have no idea how to use it so thought it would be a waste. but if you do a tut on it it may convince me.

I have the Pink Gold Dazzle Dust and love it, I adore it with golds/bronzes and browns, it's so versatile and pretty!
Love that illuminator! Unfortunately, all the acid palettes were tampered with ;-(
